Ta Da! Ladies' Bible Study

-  Building Relationships
-  Increasing our knowledge of
    the Bible
-  Sharing and praying for one
     another and those beyond our
     doors

Study begins at 10 am in Heritage Hall in the Education Building.
Meet and Greet at 9:30 am.

In June we will be starting the letters of Paul in order of his missionary trips. We will start with 1 Thessalonians.

The name of our study group has changed from Monday Ladies' Bible Study to Ta Da! Ladies' Bible Study. The reason for the change is the original name is lengthy, and we really want to reflect the goodness of God. As you know, for many who are influenced by the British, Ta is short for Thank you and Da is short for Dad or Father, thus we are saying Thank You Father. We want to be reminded of that when our group is mentioned.

First Methodist Women
New Book Study - August 2026

What can the Holy Spirit do when believers get serious about prayer and the gospel?

For anyone seeking to live at the center of God's purposes, Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire points the way to new spiritual vitality in the church and in your own life.

God moves in life-changing ways—calling us back from spiritual dead ends, apathy, and lukewarm religion—when we set aside our own agendas, take him at his word, and listen for his voice.

Pastor Jim Cymbala knows this from personal experience.

Back in the early 1970s his own church, the Brooklyn Tabernacle, was a struggling congregation of twenty. Then they began to pray…to really pray. Then God began to move, and street-hardened lives by the hundreds were changed with the love of Christ. Today, the Brooklyn Tabernacle is nearly ten thousand strong.
